Ausschreibung 2. PhD-Grant

Die Stiftung Physiotherapie Wissenschaften vergibt 2012 zum zweiten Mal einen Förderpreis für die finanzielle Unterstützung der wissenschaftlichen Laufbahn einer PhD-Kandidatin/eines PhD-Kandidaten. Die Preissumme beträgt CHF 25 000.

Die Verleihung des Förderpreises findet am 11. Mai 2012 statt, im Rahmen des nationalen Physiotherapie-Kongresses in Genf.

Announcement of 2nd PhD-Grant

For the second time around, the PTW Foundation will award a PhD-grant in 2012 as a financial support for the academic career of a deserving PhD-candidate. The grant amounts to CHF 25 000.

The awarding of the grant will take place on May 11, 2012 during the National Physiotherapy Congress in Geneva.

Verleihung des 1. PhD-Grants
Die Stiftung PTW hat am 7. Mai 2010 im Rahmen des nationalen Physiotherapiekongresses in Basel den ersten PhD-Grant verliehen.

Den Förderpreis von CHF 25'000 ging an Clare Maguire vom Bildungszentrum Gesundheit Basel-Stadt mit ihrem Projekt "Sind bei Schlaganfallpatienten TheraTogs und Taping effektiver als die übliche Hilfsmittelversorgung mit Gehhilfen in Bezug auf die Erholung verschiedener Aspekte des Gangablaufs?"

Awarding of 1st PhD-Grant
The PTW Foundation awarded the first PhD-grant on the 7th of May, 2010 during the National Physiotherapy Congress in Basel.

The grant in the amount of CHF 25'000 was awarded to Clare Maguire from BZG Basel-Stadt with her project titled "The effect of TheraTogs on the recovery of hemiplegic lower extremity muscle activity, balance, gait and social participation when used during gait rehabilitation following stroke compared to conventional gait rehabilitation with canes."
